Community Gardening
We contacted Winnall Community Centre in 2012 to develop the idea that project members could use and share their gardening skills with older and vulnerable people in the local community many of who were struggling to maintain their gardens.

This has lead to a successful voluntary programme that works with Hampshire County Council's area housing team.  

The community project has worked with and helped a great number of people and their gardens. Over the years project members have made good friendships with the people they have helped.

In 2013 We helped Winnall Community Association to design and plant a community garden. As part of this we built some community compost bins with an information board for local residents to use. Project members regularly help to maintain the garden.
